----------------------------F.A.Q.s----------------------------

1a. Is this egg hunt going to be a madhouse?
-- Absolutely not. We require pre-registration for this very reason.

1b. Will there be enough eggs for ALL waves?
--YES! We take great care to make sure that each wave is fun for everyone. This is what you are paying for :)  **However, you must be present at the start of your egg hunt wave as we do not reserve eggs. And, there is no guarantee that there will be space in another wave.**

1c. Will we miss out on anything if we don't make the earlier waves?
Great question. The answer is NO! Each wave is its own event. Families should arrive 10-15 minutes before their wave time to check-in.

1d. So, is it time to go at the end of our wave?
Once you have gotten your Easter bunny photo opportunity, then it is indeed time to go and enjoy the rest of the day.

2. If I just have a baby, under the age of 1 year/one year, can we attend for free?
-- Each child must have a ticket. If you'd like to attend a free event, please look online for free and fabulous egg hunts around the city.

3. Will the egg hunt happen even if it rains?
-- Yes. There is no rain date. There are no refunds, and all sales are final.

4a. Will all ages hunt for eggs at the same time?
-- Yes. However, we've added an element to minimize any chaos. We're asking families of older hunters to start at the opposite end of the hunting ground. This will ensure that all children, even siblings, can hunt at the same time as their younger brothers and sisters.

4b. What about my little one? I don't want to get trampled.
--We hear you! Thus, we've created a Wee Hop hunt for those under 2 years old if you prefer not to join Waves A-E. Please note that if you have older siblings, they will have to attend one of the regular waves (A-E).

5. Will I get to take a picture with the Easter bunny?
-- Definitely! Each family will be able to get in the line for photos -- and get back into line for more shots if there is time!

6a. What if I am late and miss my wave?
-- Please be sure to make it on time as each wave is on a pre-registered basis by design. There is no guarantee that you will be accommodated at a subsequent wave, and there are no refunds. Please just make it :)

6b. Oh no! I need to change my wave. What do I do?
--You can change your wave -- IF it is still available -- for a $20 administrative fee. Just click to purchase a wave-change ticket.

7a. What do I need?
-- You'll need layers, depending on the weather, and a fully charged camera/smartphone.

7b. Can I bring my dog, s/he's just so cute?
Please leave all four-legged friends at home. Dogs, unfortunately, are not allowed at this event. You will be asked to escort him/her out of the event. Thank you for understanding.

8. Who is included in my child's ticket?
-- A ticket for each child, regardless of age, must be purchased. Each child can bring as many adult family members as desired.

9a. Where is Sakura Park?
Glad you asked. It's a beautiful park located behind International House and across the street from Riverside Church in the Columbia University area. It's a short walk from the 116th Station on the No. 1 train line. It's also accessible by the M5 bus if you're coming from downtown - or uptown!

9b. What about parking?
There are parking lots in the area. There might be some street parking. Please allot enough time to park - either in a lot or on the street - so you don't miss your start time. We start on time, and there are no refunds. We cannot guarantee there will be space in another wave.

10. What's in the eggs?
-- Candy, little prizes. Nothing healthy. It's a good old-fashioned egg hunt. Please enjoy this event for what it is!
